Operation:

Caution: Never press the indenter of the durometer into sensitive surfaces. Prevent the device from falling into the hands of customers.

The 0 position of the pointer is easy to adjust. To do this, loosen the screw on the right edge of the case. Then screw the edge of the case in so that the indicator needle is on the "0".

Now tighten the screw on the right edge of the housing.

Measurement:

Hold the durometer vertically over the surface to be measured. Then gently press against the surface to be measured so that the lower durometer contact surface completely touches the surface to be measured.

Now read the dial gauge.
